He's running :o
So, I was doing some agility with Bilbo today and let me say this: the bugger ran. He actually ran.
Normally my boy is slow. Slow slow slow slow slow.
Running is reserved for chasing Frodo or people. Running is not to be wasted on agility, even at home, yet he decided it was high time to run. We did a short sequence with the teeter board (we are working on RCs), a jump, and the weaves. Sped through them. When we did the A-frame, he hit his contacts all the time and felt good enough to not just creep down the bottom, but shuffle.
Frodo is also doing well; he has one more weave pole added on and, for his A-frame contacts, he hit them 80% of the time. I'm hoping to do some RC practice with him sooner than later.
My step-dad is going to fix our oldest jump and make it 16 inches, since our new one is 16 inches as well.

That's great!
I felt bad for a while because Delilah was real slow. She likes agility because she likes to please me. But she's slow...

I think I'm going to lay off agility for at least a week before any trial/fair. You can't fix things in a single week, after all. Not well enough for a trial. And a break= more motivation for Bilbo to run.

I tried giving Shiloh a day off yesterday, but my dad said she kept trying to go through his legs. She was staring at me the whole day too. She wanted to do agility. But I didn't.

When Bilbo has a day off, we just focus on different aspects of it, like practicing going out. Or we do a bit more obedience work that night.

That's great! My dog is hyperactive even though he is a little bit overweight. Is this a problem or a good thing?

A good thing- Bilbo wouldn't do agility if running was a problem. c:
